Piero's Pleasure – The Touch Of Piero Umiliani
CD (Item 461307) Bella Casa (UK), Late 60s/Early 70s — Condition: New Copy
A host of dreamy soundtrack tunes – all from the magical pen of Piero Umiliani – easily one of the best of the late 60s/early 70s Italian scene! Umiliani hit worldwide fame for his "Mah Na Mah Na" tune from the film Sweden Heaven & Hell – which is included here – but he also worked on countless other great soundtracks during the same period – all in styles that run from jazzy instrumental to scatting vocal, mod Hammond, spy spoof, bossa beat, and more! The package is a great introduction to Umiliani's rich legacy of music – and features 30 tracks from 10 different films – some of which we haven't seen on CD in awhile. Titles include "Requiem Per Un Agente Segreto", "Isola Tuttofare", "Mah Na Mah Na", "Due Mafiosi Contro Goldfinger", "Due Mafiosi Contro Al Capone", "Cinque Bambole", "Luna D'Agosto (version 3)", "Un Posto Per Un Addio", "Crystal", "Bob & Hellen", and "La Fidanzatina". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | ||||||
