Law, Language, & Lenny Bruce
LP (Item 352350) Warner, Early 60s — Condition: Used
A great live recording by Lenny Bruce – and a rich document of the level of persecution he was made to feel from the US legal system! The album dates from 1974, but features an earlier performance held by Phil Spector, and licensed to Warner – one that features Lenny running through various instances of his persecution – including legal testimonies and transcripts. And although some albums from this time get a bit over-weighted with persecution, this set somehow manages to avoid most of those pitfalls – and still captures Lenny at his spontaneous best, at a time when he could still make jokes about most of these circumstances! (Cover has a spot of sticke residue.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
