Gli Occhi Freddi Della Paura (aka Cold Eyes Of Fear) (with bonus tracks)
CD (Item 593960) Beat (Italy), 1971 — Condition: New Copy
A dark and extremely avant garde soundtrack from Morricone! The score is performed by the Gruppo Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza – and it's a mix of free improve-type playing with other styles that are a bit more straight ahead jazz – a really compelling mix that's plenty darn striking right from the start! Musical elements include electric guitar, percussion, trumpet, violin, and lots of weird effects and electronic bits. The whole thing's incredibly spooky – one of the most turgid scores we've ever heard from the pen of Morricone – and it's packaged with a passle of unreleased bonus tracks, for a total of 21 cuts in all – way more than the any previous versions of the score! Titles include "Sequita", "Evaporazione", "Dal Sogno E Ritorno", "Folle Folle", and "Notte E Misteri". (Limited edition.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | ||||||
