Early One Morning features a blend of acoustic and electric elements – fiddle, tin whistle and bodhran being the most Irish folk-indebted – but the overall instrumentation is pretty adventurous! There's winds, chimes, electric mandolin, Moog, organ, harpsichord, bass, guitars and percussion – and it all works together brilliantly, thanks to strong songs and impassioned vocals.
