Early One Morning (180 gram vinyl & bonus 7-inch EP)
LP (Item 610877) Acme (UK), Early 70s — Condition: New Copy
A cool and rare set from Mushroom – a Dublin group with a sound unlike any other! Early One Morning features a blend of acoustic and electric elements – fiddle, tin whistle and bodhran being the most Irish folk-indebted – but the overall instrumentation is pretty adventurous! There's winds, chimes, electric mandolin, Moog, organ, harpsichord, bass, guitars and percussion – and it all works together brilliantly, thanks to strong songs and impassioned vocals. Includes "Early One Morning", "The Laithdan", "Crying", Unborn Child", "Johnny The Jumper", "Potter's Wheel", "Standing Alone", "Devil Among The Tailors", "Tenpenny Piece", "Drowsey Maggie" and "King Of Alba". (Inlcudes bonus 7-inch EP with 5 tracks: Demo versions album tracks "Unborn Child" and "Devil Among The Tailor" – plus the non-album tracks "Met A Friend", "The King Of Ireland's Daughter" and "Kings And Queens".) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
