Ray, Goodman, & Brown II

LP (Item 13059) Polydor, 1980 — Condition: Used
Out Of Stock

LP, Vinyl record album

4.80 11

Probably the best album Ray, Goodman, and Brown cut after they dissolved The Moments, and moved to Polydor. Despite some more modern soul production than their classic recordings, their harmonies are excellent, and their voices are in totally top form. The LP includes their classic "Happy Anniversary", plus "You", "Sweet Sexy Woman", "Each Time Is Like The First Time", and "Part Of You". (Includes the lyric sleeve. Cover has a cut corner.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Polydor, 1978. Near Mint-
It's the late 70s, James' head is all addled, he thinks he's the guy who invented disco, and he starts turning his extended funky sound towards the clubs. Fantasy, 1979. Very Good Gatefold
A wonderful album from Pleasure – a group who were already great before, but who really seem to hit a great new level with this late 70s classic! Moment Of Truth
Salsoul, 1977. Very Good
The one and only album by Moment Of Truth – a short-lived group with a mighty east coast club groove! The set soars with a sound that's in the mode of the best Philly work of the mid 70s – clubby, but not too caught up in disco cliches, and handled with plenty of soul on the vocals and ...
