Brownswood Electr*c is a fresh step in highlighting worthy modern artists, a venture not unlike the great Brownswood Bubblers sets. It's material from the from the electronic underground, nicely utilizing materials pioneered in club groove styles, genres and scenes over the years – club soul, dubstep, drum & bass, broken beat, etc – but the stuff here dodges pigeonhole or easy categorization.
