I Hear Music In The Streets/In The Middle
12-inch (Item 384900) Prelude, 1980 — Condition: Used
Genius, pure genius – and one of our favorite Prelude singles ever! "I Hear Music" is one of those tunes that takes a single track and creates a mini-symphony of groove – starting with a snapping catchy 80s groove sort of mode (one that's clearly inspired by Roy Ayers) – then stepping things up with a different approach on the chorus, then going back to the initial groove – and gliding through the whole thing with a soulful grace that's simply amazing! "In The Middle" is pretty darn nice too – a bit more uptempo and straight club, but a winner all the way through! (In a Prelude sleeve.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
