Lady In A Cage
CD (Item 615804) Paramount/Kritzerland, 1964 — Condition: New Copy
A wonderfully striking soundtrack for a very offbeat film – an early 60s tale about a woman who gets trapped in her home elevator, and harassed by a band of intruders! The score by Paul Glass has all the right elements to live up to the tension in the story – beginning with those arch woodwind passages you might hear on some of the best 60s dramatic scoring, especially on TV – intercut with some more vibrant percussion passages, and building strongly as the soundtrack moves on – indicating the psychological trauma of the main character. Titles include "We're Gonna Kill Ya", "Wino Cuts Hand/The Wine Rack", "Pozeganie Malcolma", "Crawl To Freedom", "The Landing", and "Fall From The Cage".
