A sweet sweet groover from Max Greger Jr – the younger member of the famous jazz family, working here in a style that's a lot lighter than his dad's music! The album features Greger's piano tippling out nicely over some warm studio grooves – a mix of soul and strings that takes plenty of cues from the American soul world of the the late 70s – with echoes of Love Unlimited Orchestra or some of the work of Webster Lewis, too.
