Amazing experimental work from Italy – a beautiful package of avant garde works for radio – some of which were so outside, they never even hit the airwaves – even though they were included in the prestigious competition for the Prix Italia! The feel here is like some of the most compelling Cramps Records releases of the 70s – but also has echoes of the earlier experimental generation too – no surprise, since some of the contributors here are some of the leading lights of the Italian left field in the 60s and 70s. The package features a lavish book inside a heavy slipcover – the 6 CDs feature work that includes "Attraverso Lo Specchio" by Niccolo Castiglioni, "La Notte Di Un Neverastenico" by Nino Rota, "Diario Immaginario" by Luciano Berio, "La Voce Dell'Inferno" by Salvatore Sciarrino, and "Ritratto Di Erasmo", "Don Perlimplin", and "Ages" by Bruno Maderna.
