Alongside albums by Rob Swift and the X-Men LP's, it's nice to have DJ records that are actually worth listening to more than once. This LP is a little more straight DJ work and less high-concept than the those LP's, but they still have some nice ideas, not just skillz. And besides, anyone who can combine Roxanne Shante and Too Short bits and pieces (along with dozens of others) and make it sound dope is alright with us. (Original pressing, catalog # KOD-001, with run-out groove message.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
