Leila/Paiz
7-inch (Item 603149) Now Again, Early 70s — Condition: New Copy
Great guitar kicks off "Leila" – a tune with a really eerie edge, and one of the most striking numbers we've heard so far from the legendary Kourosh! The tune begins quite slowly, almost introspectively – with some slight Arabesk flavors that only get stronger once the vocals come in – sung by Kourosh with a spacious approach that really underscores their blueness. "Paiz" is a bit more psych overall – still with excellent guitar, but things that trip out in echoey production before the vocals come into the mix. © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
