La Cumbia Delincuencial/Recordando A Marion

Add Item to Want List
7-inch (Item 490727) Mass Tropics, 2008 — Condition: New Copy

A record as tripped-out as its cover – with all the right mix of psychedelic and Latin influences you might expect! "La Cumbia Delincuencial" definitely sounds like a delinquent take on cumbia – nicely messed-up with lots of echo in the production, wangly guitar bits, and filtered vocals that add a real sort of mania to the tune, on top of the jaunty beats! "Recordando A Marion" begins with a harmonica running out of steam, then quickly steps into a guitar-driven groove that's totally great – more mad psych-cumbia, with lots of cool instrumental and production bits in the mix! (Limited numbered edition.)  © 1996-2010, Dusty Groove America, Inc.
