Pass It On (part 1)/Tomorrow's Sun

12-inch (Item 539869) Soundway (UK), 1980 — Condition: New Copy

A cosmic disco jam from South American soca artist Eddie Hooper – the sweet, spacey and soaring "Pass It On (Part 1)" and the brightly grooving "Tomorrow's Sun"! Both tracks are really unique in that they work with familiar elements but have a vibe all their own. "Pass It On" has a layer of keys floating over some really sweet percussion and insistent bass groove, with laidback spiritually resonant vocals. "Tomorrow's Sun" works in a similar mode, but feels just a bit more meditative and spiritually oriented in the lyrics, without compromising the spacey club soul touches.  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
