One of the richest, most organic of John Zorn's "file card" works – a set composed and conducted by him, but performed in a range of rich world sounds by Cyro Baptista's Banquet Of The Spirits group! The core quartet gets some added help on vibes from Kenny Wollesen, who brings in these really beautiful tones to the album's blend of percussion, bells, piano, organ, oud, and more – a really heady brew that spins out over the course of the album's one long track – with a feel that's far more world/improv/jazz than you might ever expect to hear from John Zorn.
