Baja Marimba Band's Back
LP (Item 480603) Bell, 1973 — Condition: Used
Rare post-A&M work from The Baja Marimba Band – and a set that's even groovier than their classics! As before, the whole thing's arranged and produced by Julius Wechter – with a groove that's kind of a cool California take on Mexican marimba modes – infused with a bit of bossa, and given a nice 70s twist here, one that takes the music a bit away from its A&M roots! Electric bass bumps most tracks along nicely from the bottom, and there's also some great flute too – and titles include "Anytime Of The Year", "My Love", "Ventura", "Just An Old Fashioned Love Song", "Tomatoes/Small World", "Taco Belle", and "Pa". (White label promo. Cover has a promo sticker on the front and a bit of tape on the spine.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
