Nuvem Cigana
CD (Item 527191) Odeon/Bomba (Japan), 1982 — Condition: New Copy
We love Lo Borges! Most folks know him as the singer from Milton Nascimento's legendary Clube Da Esquina album – but he cut a few incredible albums on his own, and this is one of them! The record is a masterpiece – and it mixes sophisticated rock songwriting with wonderfully jazzy arrangements, all graced by Borges' fantastic voice and captivating guitar. The overall sound is hard to describe – but it's sort of like Milton Nascimento filtered through Steely Dan, if that helps. Titles include "Ritata", "Viver, Viver", "Vai Vai Vai", "Uma Cancao", "O Vento Nao Me Levou", and "O Choro". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
