Naughty By Nature
LP (Item 547950) Tommy Boy, 1991 — Condition: New Copy
Their first LP and a high water mark for the Flavor Unit. The thing that still gets us open on this debut is that Naughty By Nature managed to bridge the gap between commercially viable, radio friendly hip hop and street credibility, plus had tight enough rhymes and mic skills to please even the true heads. Too bad that not much beside a couple of standout tracks they did after this album was of the same quality. The hits need no introduction from us: "OPP", "Ghetto Bastard (Everthing's Gonna Be Alright)" and "Guard Your Grill", plus this set includes "1, 2, 3" featuring Lakim Shabazz and Apache, "Wickedest Man Alive" featuring Queen Latifah, "Everyday All Day", "Strike A Nerve", "Let The Ho's Go", "Pin The Tail On The Donkey", "Rhyme'll Shine On" and "Thankx For Sleepwalking". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
