60s bossa and samba treasures compiled by Nicola Conte – Vol 3 in the wonderful, eye-opening and ear-pleasing Viagem series on Far Out – featuring the deepest cuts of the series to date! This third set features gems by Dalmo Castello, Bossa Trio, Claudia, Vera Brasil, Luiz Carlos Sa, Werther, Kazinho and more – from a wider span of material, with recordings ranging from the early 60s up until around 1970, bossa and samba jazz heavy numbers, some quite soaring and others with more rumbling Afro rhythms. It's groovy material, but passionate and often political – deep stuff, and including some numbers we've never heard before, which is always an exciting thing around here! Titles include "Fora De Hora" by Dalmo Castello, "Voce Que Nao Vem" by O Trangulo, "Sem Fim" by Marisa Baroso, "Chegar De Brigar" by Henrique Benny, "Macumba" by Claudia, "Copa 70" Brasil 40 Graus, "LItoral" by Werther, "Tema Em Do" by Bossa Trio and more. 18 tracks in all.  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
