Temptation Is So Hard To Fight/Every Time I Wake Up

7-inch (Item 468375) Twinight/Numero, 1967 — Condition: New Copy

Early Twinight magic from Chicago – two sides of super harmony soul! "Temptation Is Hard To Fight" is a rough-edged ballad with great lead from George McGregor, and some female backings from The Bronzettes – all in a mode that's clearly an answer to "Temptation's About To Get Me", but which really has its own vibe too! "Every Time I Wake Up" is more in the funky Twinight mode you might expect – a gritty, stomping groove that almost sounds like Syl Johnson!  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
