We'll Be Together Again
CD (Item 615950) Pablo/OJC, 1984 — Condition: New Copy
Beautiful sounds from JJ Johnson and Joe Pass – one of those great stripped-down Pablo Records sessions that were easily some of the greatest moments on the label! Pass was a real star in sets like these – which were perfect for his gentle approach to jazz guitar – and it's great to hear JJ's trombone without any other rhythm section – still finding that great sense of soul and rhythm that's always made him one of our favorites – and really helping to bring some nice bite to a record with Pass, too. Titles include "Solar", "Blue Bossa", "Wave", "Naked As A Jaybird", and "Bud's Blues". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
