Half of the fourth album from The Incredible String Band and their most sprawling work to date – which was originally split into separate LPs for the US release – this being The Big Huge portion! Multi-instrumentalists Mike Heron & Robin Williamson began using studio multi-tracking to incredible effect on their previous LP, and continue on that path here, though accompanied by frequent collaborator Licorice (who earlier sang with the group, but contributes Irish harp & percussion here) plus violin and percussion by Rose – and the album as in turns their most ambitious. Titles include "Maya", "Greatest Friend", "Lordly Nightshade", "The Son Of Noah's Brother", "Cousin Catepillar", "The Circle Is Unbroken" and more. Still, a good chunk of those records, including this smooth batch of ... LP, Vinyl record album

That Gibson Boy
RCA, 1959. Very Good+
Probably the greatest album ever by the great Don Gibson. Not a flaw here to pick if we tried. The selection of staples is top notch including "Foggy River", "Almost", "I Wish It Had Been A Dream" and the great "Won't 'Cha Come Back To Me". Chet Atkins ... LP, Vinyl record album
