A rare punky treasure from the Paris scene of the 70s – a standout set from Les Olivensteins, a group who are easily one of the hardest from France at the time! There's a short, sharp, no-nonsense approach to the record that we really love – a vibe that really matches that core energy of early Buzzcocks or Wire – and which, given the 1977 release of the set, makes Olivensteins contemporaneous with those better-known British acts. Guitar and bass have a great way of turning down to create some really dark sounds – and titles include "Le Specialiste", "Fier De Ne Rien Faire", "Euthanasie", "Je Suis Negatif", and "Je Hais Les Fils De Riches".
