Avant jazz great Akira Sakata and the Chikamorachi duo of Chris Corsano and Darin Gray – live at Chicago's Hungry Brain – part of the 4th annual Umbrella Music Festival in 2009! Much the other recorded material we've heard with the legendary Sakata and the raucous, riveting Chikamorachi rhythm – this is pummeling, noisy, yet quite dexterous stuff.
