All In Time
CD (Item 593048) Capitol (Japan), 1982 — Condition: New Copy
Tremendous grooves from Eloise Laws – easily one of the hippest soul singers of her generation, and one with a great family legacy as well! The set features great jazzy production from Ronnie Laws – who warms things up with that perfect blend he brought to his own records too – and Hubert Laws joins in a bit on flute, and Debra Laws adds some extra vocals too – all of which makes for a really deep, well-rounded record that's plenty great all the way through! The sound is much deeper than most chart soul of the time – with some elements of steppers grooves on the mellow cuts, and that great Capitol Rare sound on the groovers. Titles include "Weekend", "While The City Sleeps", "Love Ain't Easy", "I Did It For Love", and "I've Loved You Somewhere Before". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
