Mary Jane – Original Soundtrack (180 gram pressing)
LP (Item 609202) Sidewalk/Reel Time (UK), 1967 — Condition: New Copy
A wonderful soundtrack – one of the best of the American International Pictures generation! Mike Curb headed up this one – and the tunes are a mix of go-go grooving, jazzy riffing, and psyche-pop instrumentals with elements that include funky flute, electric harpsichord, and fuzzy guitar riffing! Mrs Miller sings one of two versions of the great theme song ("Mary Jane" – get it?) – and other tracks include the Dennis Coffey-like "Bay City Boys", "Jerry's Theme", "Ellie's Theme", "Store Stealing", and "Gas Hassle". Great all the way through – with a wide range of excellent tracks, and not just the usual biker ripoff motif! © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
