The start of a legend – and a key compilation to document the rich reworkings of Brazilian sounds in the 90s global scene! The collection is the first in the legendary series – and has a wider range than some of the others – as Schema moves past just their own recordings, and incorporates some key sounds from other labels as well – a number of which are now out of print. Given that most numbers here – at least these mixes – were only around on 12" singles, the collection is especially essential – and filled with gems that stand up well – and really set the blueprint for grooves in years to come!
