Moog Groove
LP (Item 26339) Limelight (UK), Late 60s -- Condition: New Copy
Wonderful funky fuzzy moogy! The cover proclaims that this is the "first album of electronic rock" -- and although we don't know how true that is, the record's a nice batch of moogy covers -- featuring tracks like "Grazin In the Grass", "Aquarius", "Penny Lane", "Windmills Of Your Mind", and "Both Sides Now". Even odder, though, is the fact that the record features Eddie Higgins, that great white hope of Chicago jazz, playing the moog! The whole thing's got a great sound that's really strange, with lots of fuzzy effects, and other strange production elements thrown into the mix. Always exciting, and a real lost moogy gem! © 1996-2009, Dusty Groove America, Inc. | ||||||
