CD (Item 405495) Dakar Sound (Netherlands), 2005 — Condition: New Copy
Bouncing, bubbling work from Smilin Osei – an artist with such a positive sound, he definitely earns his name! That's not to say that the music's too dopey, though – because there's a nice balance between serious groove and upbeat energy – carried forth by a combo that has some nice acoustic touches on percussion and horns, the last of which are especially nice – inflected with electric guitar lines that really energize things overall. Titles include "Sweety", "Love Your Neighbour", "Oblanowa", "Wonderful Feeling", "Happy Maker", and "Sunshine Music". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
