A trio of Afro Funk groovers – all nicely reworked too! "Ahyewa" is a bouncing number from K Frimpong & Super Complex Sounds – a group who definitely earn their name, given the percussion interplay of the tune – which is further expanded in a wicked edit from Hide & Smile! The Uhuru Dance Band step out in a very percussive number without any title – which gets a really respectful treatment from Quantic, who only seems to increase the frenzy of the track! And last up is "Joy" from The Cranes – a tune with an amazing horn part over funky riffing echoey guitar – already great enough on its own, but made even more wonderful by Quantic!
