Fenomenal E Il Tesoro Di Tutankamen
CD (Item 457413) Digitmovies (Italy), 1968 — Condition: New Copy
A groovy late 60s Italian heist soundtrack – one that's very much in the spirit of the scores for Satanik and Diabolik – but which features particularly great music from Bruno Nicolai, and a fair bit of vocals from I Cantori Moderni and Edda Dell'Orso! The tracks are a mix of shorter, brooding numbers and more upbeat, mod-styled ones – the latter of which feature romping "action" rhythms that often include a fair bit of vocals from the Cantori group – scatting along wonderfully with the music, as they did in Seven Golden Men or Slalom! The production here is wonderful too – a whopping 30 tracks in all, finally brought to light in the first-ever album release of the work – all done with the usual very high Digitmovies standards.
