CD (Item 616786) QDK (Germany), Mid 70s — Condition: New Copy

An impressive fusion of raw, riveting rock guitars and African rhythms that are also nicely stripped down – on this really cool record from Zambia's Paul Ngozi! He sings in both English and in Zambian – hopping back and forth from track-to-track – and overall, the record is a really deft blend of styles that works incredibly well! Raw and rugged, but never heavy or lumbering – both accessible and indescribable, which is a tough combo to pull off! Includes "In The Ghetto", "Help Me', "Anasoni", "Who Will Know", "Suicide", "Bamayo", "Can't You Hear Me", "Ulesi Tileke" and "Jesus Christ".  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
