Invisible Wind – The Tap Recordings
CD (Item 480043) Tap/P-Vine (Japan), Early 80s — Condition: New Copy
A full album of work from Arnie Love – an artist we first discovered on the Don't Stop collection from Numero, served up here in a deeper collection of his work for the Tap Recordings label! Arnie's grooves here are mostly aimed at the dancefloor – a tight bit of boogie or funk on the upbeat numbers, mixed with some mellower modern soul elements on the set's few ballads – mostly produced with a good sense of warmth that always keeps things from getting too cold! The Lovelettes sing backing vocals on most tracks, but Arnie's soulful lead is what really holds our interest – and the set features two previously unissued tracks appearing here for the first time. Titles include "Lover's Quarrel", "Breakout", "Invisible Wind", "Stop & Make Up Your Mind", "Heaven Really Knows", "We Had Enough", and "Me Myself & I". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
