Sublime Italian soundtrack funk – and one of the greatest albums ever from 70s maestro Stelvio Cipriani! The music was scored for a schlocky horror film about a giant octopus – but Cipriani's approach here goes far beyond its roots – beautifully blending together tightly compressed bass and funky drum bits with sweet electric keys and warm string touches – making for a set that slinks along with an infectious groove from start to finish! The sound is incredible – immediately seductive on the first track, and continuing to develop as the set moves on – making for an amazing soundtrack that we'd rank as one of our Italian favorites of the 70s. Titles include "Tentacles", "Small Town Pleasures", "She'll Never Come Back", "San Diego Yellow Cab", "Summer & Winter", and "Scotch For Two". CD features more tracks than the previous version – 7 more bonus tracks that are previously unreleased! (Limited edition.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

A cool late 70s soundtrack from Stelvio Cipriani – for the Italian & French co-production Enfantasme – a film we know little about, but with a nicely dramatic score that dabbles a bit on spacier 70s Euro sounds! There's a bit of electric piano and Moogy sounds, along with more ... CD

La Ragazza Fuori Strada
Easy Tempo (Italy), 1975. New Copy
One of the coolest Italian soundtracks we've heard in a long time – a wonderful set of tunes that moves from slinky, to easy, to groovy, and beyond! The tunes start out bubbling very spare and slow – with floating piano, moog, and other nice bits – and as the record progresses, ... CD

Bear Family (Germany), 1960s/Early 70s. New Copy
A very cool compilation of vocal tunes from western films – all themes written by Ennio Morricone, and sung by a range of singers that really makes for some fantastic work! The recordings of the set are mostly from the very late 60s and very early 70s – and although the themes are ... CD
