CCPP (180 gram pressing)
LP (Item 594598) Flamophone/Vadim (France), 1975 — Condition: New Copy
French funky fusion full-on – a wicked set of jamming tracks from CCPP, a group that features mighty drum work from Andre Ceccarelli! You might know Andre from other straighter jazz sets, but here he's working in a groove that's definitely in the best rock fusion style of the time – often with funky undercurrents that link the group to some of the best German acts of this nature, and which give the record a lot more soul than you might expect! Other players include Marc Chantezeau on keyboards, Christian Padovan on bass, and Slim Pezin on guitars – but there's also some supporting larger jazz arrangements on most of the best tracks. Titles include "Primitive Soul", "Clavinet Sh*t", "Death Of The Spanish Lion", "Swing Tatave", and "Prancai". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
