Joy & Pain
LP (Item 1319) Capitol, 1980 — Condition: Used
Classic modern soul from the legendary Frankie Beverly! The record's perhaps one of their best remembered – most likely for the killer cut "Joy & Pain", which has a great hook that's been sampled many times over the years. The record also features the wonderful "Southern Girl", an excellent smooth cut that's a great example of the kind of solid soul that Frankie was bringing to the charts in the early 80s. Other tracks include "Roots", "Changing Times", and "The Look In Your Eyes". (Includes the lyric sleeve. Cover has some edge wear.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
