Run Around (2 x 7inch gatefold set)
7-inch (Item 640343) Numero, 1967 — Condition: New Copy
A cool rarity from the Chicago scene of the 60s – a Windy City obscurity that really sounds wonderful all these many years later! The Cave Dwellers were getting some top shelf help right at the start – as you might guess from their matching outfits on the cover – but they've also got a rough undercurrent that's strongly in the Dunwich mode – buried under full soaring horns on the main cut "You Know Why", but really bursting out on "Run Around" – which has frenzied guitars and vocals, and this beautifully burning Hammond! This beautiful package features notes on the group and these rare recordings – and also features two unreleased cuts too – "Don't Break My Heart" and "Because I Love You". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | ||||||
