A compelling little soundtrack to a compelling little film – and a record that's almost as much an audio document of the movie as it is a presentation of the music! The dramatic score by Alex North is juxtaposed with a fair bit of dialogue from Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton – famously making their way through some of the key scenes in Edward Albee's play. The record's a great reminder of the role that soundtracks filled in a pre-video era – the one way that people could actually have some part of a great film to call their own! Titles include "Bergin", "Virginia Woolf Rock", "Martha", "Fleece", and "Sad Sad Sad". (Original white label promo.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
