A 70s soundtrack from Guido & Maurizio De Angelus – their work for 1975's A Mezzanotte Va La Ronda Del Piacere – a cool one that covers a lot of stylistic territory! This soundtrack is built with fairly stripped down sounds for the most part – small combo material with some spacey and straighter touches alike. It's got some 70s jazz funk touches along the way – in particular, the occasional keys, heavy drums and flute – plus some sweet, acoustic guitar and piano-led sequences – which range from folky to suspenseful. Includes "Mister Love", "Il Tango Delle Capinere", "Mister Love Beguine", "Carillon", "Gino", "Seduta Spiritica", "Mister Love Tango", "Imcomprensione" and more from the original 70s release – and a wealth of bonus material – alternate sequences and different orchestrations. 24 tracks in all! (Limited edition.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

A mix of old school soundtrack modes from Giorgio Fabor – that great blend of jazzy instrumentation and more sentimental modes that you'd find in Italian films of the 50s! The style's a bit less lean than Italian modes of the next decade, but still very expressive in a way that's different ... CD

Very groovy early work from Armando Trovajoli – two early 60s film scores, back to back on a single CD! Che Fine Ha Fatto Toto Baby has all the great jaunty jazzy elements we love in Trovajoli's late 60s material – that keen ear for cool sounds and unusual phrases, but never in a way ... CD

One of the wildest soundtracks we've ever heard from Nico Fidenco – penned for a cool Italian sci-fi film of the late 60s! Nico's probably best known for his erotic work of the 70s, but this sweet 60s set is possibly even cooler – a wonderful mix of playful styles and offbeat ... CD

A warm and sexy score from Stelvio Cipriani – penned with a beautiful blend of woodwinds, keyboards, and sweet bossa-styled grooves! There's a bit more fullness here than in some of Cipriani's more erotic work, and a bit more groove too – although most of the music moves at a ... CD

A pretty far reaching set of grooves from Gianni Marchetti for director Joe D'Amato's Le Notti Porno Nel Mondo No 2 – from chiming acoustic guitar, soaring strings and echoing horns that would pair just as well with a Spaghetti Western as an erotic film, to funky bongo flavored disco and well ...
