Live In Beograd Yugoslavia 2nd November 1971 (yellow colored vinyl)
LP (Item 614995) BB, 1971 — Condition: New Copy
A fantastic live set captured in Europe in 1971 – one that has Ornette working with Dewey Redman on tenor, Charlie Haden on bass, and Ed Blackwell on drums. The set finds Ornette playing with a beautiful sharpness, and with a fire that sometimes is missing from some of his earlier studio recordings – plus some really incendiary solos from the other players! Titles include the Ornette originals "Street Woman", "Whom Do You Work For?", "Rock The Clock" and "Written Word", plus a nearly 15 minute run through of Haden's showpiece "Song For Che". (Limited to 500 copies & pressed on clear yellow vinyl.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
