Norman Granz' Jazz In Montreux – Tommy Flanagan (DVD)
DVD (Item 376038) Eagle Eye, 1977 — Condition: New Copy
A 1977 performance by the Tommy Flanagan Trio – caught on the stage of the Montreux Jazz Festival, with a lineup that includes Keeter Betts on bass and Bobby Durham on drums! Flanagan's at that great 70s point here – a bit more open, poetic, and lyrical than in earlier years – opening up nicely on tunes that include "Woody N You", "Blue Bossa", "Barbados", and "Heat Wave" – plus medleys of "Some Other Spring/Easy Living" and "Star Crossed Lovers/Jump For Joy". (DVD is NTSC coded, Regions 1 & 4. DVD case has a small cutout hole.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
