A beautiful batch of work from pianist Jovino Santos Neto – a very wide range of duets, spread out over one CD recorded in the US, and another in Brazil! Neto's sound here is quite rich, and quite varied – changing up nicely to fit the mood of the artist he's paired with on each track – a great range of talents that runs from Brazilian artists like Joyce, Joao Donato, Airto, Paula Morelenbaum, and Monica Salmaso – to American musicians and singers like Joe Locke, Tom Lellis, Gretchen Parlato, and Bill Frisell! Titles include "Aquelas Coisas Todas", "Insensatez", "Cruzando O Sertao", "Ahie", "Sonora Garoa", "Feira De Mangaio", "April Child", and "Gloria". (Barcode has a cutout hole.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
