A sweet slice of work from Frank McComb – and a wonderful example of the warmth and soulful energy he brings to his live performances! The album captures Frank in front of a very appreciative hometown audience in Atlanta – mixing his amazing vocals and sweet keyboard lines beautifully – and with a spontaneous quality that's light years ahead of some of the stiffer studio projects of his contemporaries – often handled with a slight jazzy undercurrent that really makes the music sparkle! McComb's got a way with words and keys that really takes us back to Stevie Wonder in the 70s – but, since Frank's almost stayed stronger for longer than Stevie, we almost find his music more inspirational in the long run! Titles include "I'd Be A Fool", "Time & Time Again", "Cupid's Arrow", "Contact", and "Never Letting Go". (This is Frank McComb's own version – a self produced CDR in a slimline case, with color copy cover.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Boobeescoot, 2000. New Copy
A beautiful debut from Frank McComb – a singer we've really grown to love and know well from his indie releases of the 21st Century, but who surprisingly got his start on a major label! The album's near perfect all the way through – as wonderful a mellow soul document as you could hope ... CD
Tribute To The Masters
Boobeescoot, 2006. New Copy
Mindblowing work from the mighty Frank McComb – an all-instrumental set, but one that's every bit as soulful as his vocal outings! As you might guess from the title, Frank's paying tribute to some of the greats from years past – and as you'd think from the electric piano on the cover, ... CD

Blue Note, 2013. New Copy
A great new chapter in the career of Jose James – and a record that really seems to take his already-amazing vocals to a whole new level! In a relatively short career, Jose's already been turning a lot of heads with his work on other projects, his jazz-based recordings, and his debut for ... CD
Muzart
Expansion (UK), 2013. New Copy
A tremendous little record from Muzart – upbeat, positive, and wonderfully grooving right from the start – served up in a beautiful blend of club rhythms and righteous soul, all with a sense of precision that we haven't heard this well in years! The vibe here is a bit contemporary, but ... CD
We Can Do Whatever
Expansion (UK), 1996. New Copy
The long-overdue release of an album that should have been a Neo Soul classic! The team of Otis Cooper and Shugg David recorded this gem of a set back in the mid 90s along with help from longtime friend and producer Raphael Saadiq – but due to shifting priorities at the major label, the set ... CD

Expansion (UK), 2013. New Copy
The first we've heard from this UK group – but given the strength of the record, we're betting we'll be digging them for many years to come! The album's a great no-nonsense contemporary soul affair – put together in a really old school sort of way that recalls the energy of Brand New ... CD
Tony
Do Right (Canada), 2008. New Copy
The most deeply soulful set so far from Ivana Santilli! The beats and bottom of the record are a lot heavier than before – and set perfectly to Ivana's well-voiced lyrics, which go far beyond simple soul cliches, and really show a nice push forward in her songwriting abilities over the years. ... Shanachie, 2013. New Copy
The first ever full length collaboration from contemporary soul veterans Musiq Soulchild and Syleena Johnson – and it's by no means a predictable male/female joint R&B record – they're rolling with a sound enriched by their mutual love of reggae! Musiq and Syleena both went through ... CD
Killer Crocodile
Kronos (Austria), 1989. New Copy
A killer croc has never sounded so spooky – thanks to great soundtrack work from Riz Ortolani! Ortolani's a name that you probably know best from famous global film success of the 60s – but by the time of this late 80s album, he's really matured nicely – and has a way with dark ... CD
