CD (Item 577811) Ring/Omni (Australia), 1975 — Condition: New Copy

One of the rarest albums ever from soundtrack maestro Peter Thomas – and one of the funkiest, too! The set's not a film score – like most of Thomas' other material – but a German sound library set, originally issued only in very small quantities – and featuring some of Peter's wildest music of the 70s! All the best sci-fi funk touches from before are firmly in place – those sounds you love from his Raumpatroulle and Chariots Of The Gods soundtracks – and instrumentation mixes up a nice blend of acoustic and electric sources, with some wicked studio production tricks too. There's a bit of wordless vocals at times – kind of a cool spacey chorus – but most sounds are instrumental, and titles include "Katachi", "Flash Point", "Rockin Computer", "Power Boost", "Under Control", and "Hedono". CD also features bonus tracks too – "Cat Beat", "Crash", "Motorama", and "Umpta Lady".  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
