Panta Rhei (180 gram pressing)
LP (Item 620535) Acme (UK), 1973 — Condition: New Copy
Not to be confused with Panta Rei, this funky prog monster comes out of the former East Germany – a wicked little set that bursts out with energy right from the start! There's a crashing mix of organ and guitars that really set the album on fire – and vocals by both female singer Veronika Fischer and some of the male members of the group – a nice blend that really helps the set offset some of the testosterone you'd find on other albums of the type. One cut – "Der Losverkaufer" – is downright funky – with excellent drums and soulful horns – and other titles include "Zwischen Gestern Und Morgen", "Finis", "Kinder Diser Welt", and "Alels Fliesst". © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
