No Way Back
LP (Item 18966) Mercury, 1976 — Condition: Used
Although later than their classic Chess/Cadet years, this album's still one of the best 70s works by the Dells – and it features recordings cut at both PS Studios in Chicago and at the All Platinum soul factory in New Jersey. The sound's a bit smoother than on earlier records, but the songwriting is still great, and the group never falters in the vocal department. A few tracks are supposedly from the Fred Williamson movie No Way Back, but we've never seen it. Titles include "I'll Try Again", "Adventure", "You're The Greatest", "No Way Back", and "I'll Make You My Girl". (Cover has some ring & edge wear, a cutout notch, and a sticker.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
