Moth Confesses
LP (Item 384411) Warner, 1969 — Condition: Used
Trippy baroque studio stuff from the Warner catalog of the late 60s, and a "phonograph opera" written by Tupper Saussy. The LP's got the ambitious intellectual feel of some of the other Warner Brothers releases from this time, like stuff by Van Dyke Parks or the later albums by Harper's Bizarre, and like that stuff, it's got a good sense of humor, and a cool feel that mixes a number of different styles. 8 numbers in all: "Cowboy", "The New Life Out There", "Little Sparrow", "Morning Girl", "Midsummer Night", "The Last Time I Saw Jacqueline", "Morning Girl, Later" and "Brilliant Colors". (Spine has a spot of old tape & a small rip. Cover has a promo stamp, a split bottom seam and WGN library letters on the back.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
