Art Of Jaime Hernandez – The Secrets Of Life & Death (hardcover)
Book (Item 600899) Abrams, 2010 — Condition: New Copy
Magnificent art from the great Jamie Hernandez – our favorite half of Los Brothers Hermanos, known for their brilliant work on Love & Rockets! The volume is part art book, part critical essay – with very thoughtful material from Todd Hignite that not only fills in some key biographical information about Jamie (at least the parts you couldn't guess from his comics), but also places his groundbreaking work within a larger cultural context. The oversized book features both color and black and white material – including lots of sketches, original artwork, and even a reproduction of the La Maggie La Loca serial that ran in the New York Times. A must for any fan of Love & Rockets – hardcover, oversize, 221 pages, with color and black and white images. © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
