The great, bracing score to the fantastic Otto Preminger film, with music by Georges Auric, and nice dramatic saxophone passages. Juliette Greco sings the title song in a nice dramatic Frenchy fashion, and the whole thing does great justice to the steamy book by Francoise Sagan. Hugo's covering all bases here – as he makes his way through a number of late 60s Morricone spaghetti western themes, all done with his groovier than usual twist on the material! The Montenegro touches here include some augmented rhythms – snapping the tunes along with a much modder ... LP, Vinyl record album

Believers – The Black Experience In Song
RCA, 1968. Very Good+
An original cast recording, but one of the hippest we've ever heard – an effort to document the richness of the African-American experience through song – starting with African roots, moving through gospel, and ending up with some very hip, mod work from the 60s – almost in an ... A pretty nice Andre Previn soundtrack for this late Billy Wilder film that starred Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau – plus the young Judi West, who sings a version of "You'd Be So Nice To Come Home To" on the album. A very groovy soundtrack, for a very groovy little movie – the quirky Good Times, directed by William Friedkin, and kind of the precursor for the Sonny & Cher TV show! Warner, 1965. Near Mint-
A very strange soundtrack from Andre Previn! The film is an obscure Natalie Wood vehicle – about an actress in Hollywood of the 30s – and it appears that Wood is the vocalist on the album's few numbers with lyrics, written by Andre with the help of Dory Previn, making the set one of ...
