Wonderful grooves from the glory days of disco – and a collection of tracks that show some great European contributions to the scene! The "exotica" in the title should be taken here as a way of referring to disco from farther-flung sources than New York, Philly, or Miami – as some of these cuts have overseas origins, but stood neck and neck with the best American sounds of the time – often heavy on keyboards and tightly-crafted rhythms – and essential to the shift the music took as the 80s approached!
